This is my favorite time of year. Not that I want my kids to hurry up and go to school but I absolutely love Back to School shopping. There is just something about the thought of getting organized (wish it would last more than a week), having all my pens, pencils, notepads etc. I just love it.

What did you buy with $.47?

I went to Walmart to take advantage of price matching and coupon overage.

This is what I purchased:
12 Campbells Cream of Chicken / Mushroom soup (priced matched Food 4 Less $.48ea)  $5.76
4 Travel size Tide $.97ea    $3.88
3 bags of Cotton Balls  $.98ea    $2.94
1 Rubbing Alcohol  $1.24
For a total of  $14.47 with tax.

I used:

2 - $2/1 off ANY Campbells product (got mailed for commenting on what a wonderful product they have) 

   Walmart accepts OVERAGE so I was able to use $2 off coupon for a $.48 item. WOOHOO!!

2 - $1/5 Campbells great for cooking found HERE

4 - $2/1 ANY Tide coupon from the PG 10/30 (again OVERAGE!!!)

for a GRAND TOTAL OF $.47 OOP.
I know I will get some emails on why I purchased Rubbing Alcohol and Cotton Balls. Well simply... they were on my list for the future needs and I was doing my best to make my total as LOW as possible.

I think 47 cents is pretty good for all the items I purchased (about 2.3 cents an item).

At Walmart you can score some FREE Tide and Cascade.  In the 7/31 PG we received a $1 off each Tide and Cascade. Those coupons have NO size restrictions, so if pick up the Trial size of either one for $.97 you will make 3cents for each package. Not bad huh.

Is Walmart doubling coupons?

Doubles at Walmart, What We Know!!

I have good news and bad news!!!

Good News ....

Here is the NEW policy

1. They are doubling all MFG (ONLY) coupons up to $.99. That means $.75 is worth $1.50.
2. They are price matching and using double coupons in WV
3. You must present each coupon with the item you are buying as they are doubling manually and must adjust the individual item, they cannot adjust the total.
4. Limits are as stated on the coupon (no limit stated means no limit)

Walmarts that are doubling, this info is via – readers, so call ahead before you go just to make sure they are and which days.

Charleston, West Virginia
Utah County, Utah ( 7 Walmarts are doubling)

Walmart Doubling coupons?

I was just told by a friend in WV that starting July 30th Walmart is going to be doubling coupons up to $1. She was told by the workers at her Walmart.  I am hoping that they double in Vegas.

Update!!!! Walmart Money Maker

I went to Walmart today and I didn't see the $4.23 item.  I did see one for $5.98 but the whole reason I printed the coupon was for the overage not for the product.  Did anyone else in Vegas see this product for this price?

Show and Tell~ Walmart trip 7/21

Well I have been so slammed with so many new goals.

 One of my goals is to actually be consistent and participate in the 5 a day from CouponingToDisney.

 I happened to write Earthbound Farms and they sent me an email with a $5/1 coupon.  I only know of one place that carries Earthbound Farms products and that is Walmart. Unfortunately, the ONLY product they had in the store was the baby carrots. 

Here is how my transaction went.

12 Elmer Glue sticks (priced match KMART)  $.25 ea  (for some reason I did need to show them the ad)

   I use these to make cards and I will have a Kindergartener and am assuming they will need it for school.

8 boxes Crayola crayons (Price matched KMART)  $.25 ea

1 bag of baby Carrots $1.58

USED $5 coupon. 

I did have some problems with the coupon, I had to show them the Corporate Coupon Policy and it had to be authorized by a manager but it was approved.

My total OOP with tax was $1.99

According to KCL Cheese Nips are are on Roll Back at Walmart!  The 7 oz. size are $1.00 and there is a $1.00 off 2 Nabisco crackers coupon from the 6/19 Red Plum.  Look for these in the center aisle or on end caps!
