Yasso Greek Yogurt only $2.49 at Smiths

Here we go! Smiths this week is rocking a deal that I can't keep to myself. I first tried those Yasso Greek yogurt bars a month ago. I was very skeptical, thinking they were going to taste gross like greek yogurt but I was shocked to say that they are really good. The only thing that bothers me is the price. They are normally $5.49 at Smiths and $4.02 at Winco. No matter the store you pick they are at least $1 each bar. That is crazy but at only 4-5 Weight Watcher Smart Points they are a great dessert when you just need something sweet.

Be sure to grab them this week at Smiths for only $2.49 (the cheapest I have ever seen them) with their mix and match 5 deals.

Yasso Greek Yogurt: $2.49 (was $5.49)  Mix and Match 5  thru 10/1
No coupon needed just make sure you grab 5 different participating items.

If you are following WW don't forget to grab a dozen eggs for only $0.99.

Smiths Mega Event Sale and What I picked up

I absolutely love the Smiths Mega Event Sale! This is the time of year that I stock up.  My Smiths was out of the Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup but "I will be back" for those. In fact I try and get enough to last me the entire year because at $0.29ea it is worth stocking up for. Regular price has been $1.49ea, no thank you!   All that you see below was only $21.16

If you notice in this picture the milk in the back looks a little "used", well it is. When I was going to take this picture I ask DH to get the milk out of the frig. What an awesome guy he is! Then I hear a word that doesn't need to be repeated here and "GET SOME TOWELS!"  As you can imagine we had a gallon of milk all over our garage, under the frig, streaming under my car, it was as the milk was making a run for it, in all the wrong places. We got it picked up and apparently missed a spot because we had ants a couple hours later. All because I love you guys and wanted a picture. :) Please excuse the half used milk container "stand in" but I wanted you to see the visual.

PS the eggs are not shown because the mess of milk was enough, I felt the eggs were safer in the frig.

What are you picking up this week?

Smiths and the Excedrin recall

I just love Smiths.

I received a call from them last week telling me about the Excedrin recall.  Today I was able to return all the Excedrin bottles to my local store, no problem.  I didn't have the boxes anymore (I mean really who keeps the boxes after you open a bottle of medication), Smiths had to do a little research to find UPC codes from other bottles but once they found those we were golden. I was able to get a cash refund and I was on my way.  From what Smiths told me, all stores are suppose to be handling the recall refunds but with Smiths I know that I will not have a hassle.  Just another reason I love Smiths.

Ortega Taco Shells 36 CENTS

Right now at Smiths they have Ortega taco shells for $1.36 with a hot pink coupon right on top of the box for $1 off.   Of course I didn't think about taking a picture of this until I got home and already used the coupon but you get the idea.   36 CENTS is a GREAT STOCK UP PRICE.

thanks Julie

RECALL ~ Excedrin, Bufferin, Nodoz and GasX

I just received a phone call from Smiths (I didn't even know they did that) letting me know of a recall from Novartis.  The recalled products are Bufferin, Excedrin, Nodoz, and Gas X.
To get more information visit Novartis or call them at 1-888-477-2403.

Smiths said (well the recording said) that I only got the phone call because I am a valued customer and I used my rewards card. Now I have to try and figure out what I purchased, where the bottle is and figure out if it is on the recall list.  ahhhhhh.

Smiths caselot sale is back

In the past the caselot sale lasts 2 weeks long with a Mega sale to follow. If you would like to check out the full ad click HERE.

Caselot sale at Smiths

Caselot starts today at Smiths it usually runs for 2 weeks but I am not 100% sure because I didn't receive my ads today in the mail. (Darn Holidays LOL)

Click HERE to check out all the deals.

Smiths usually has a caselot sale twice a year, September and around April.
My goal is to find the items that I use and stock up enough at the rock bottom price to get me to the next sale in April. Some of the items that that have made my list are:
Mandarin Oranges  $.44

Black, and Kidney beans $.50
Just to let you know, I don't think I am going to be getting a case of any of these.  I am going to get as many as I need to fill up my pantry to the way it was last April.  You don't need to get the case to get the great deal!
