New Year, New You Giveaway!

No one said this journey was going to be easy but if you want something bad enough you just have to "keep on swimming". That's how I feel about this weight loss journey. According to the scale, it can be very discouraging. If I take the scale out of it, look at my clothes size, (down 4 dress sizes), my double chins that are gone, and the way I feel, I am a winner!

So who is with me trying to do better? Are you ready to do better for your family, for your health, for yourself?!?

2020 is full of new hopes and dreams! It starts with sitting down and really thinking about what you want for the New Year. Have you already given up?  It's not too late to either get started or jump back up and do this! Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, or eat healthier, it all takes a bit of commitment.

If you are looking to getting healthier I can help you. Geris 2 Cents has partnered with the Las Vegas YMCA to offer you (our readers) a 30 day family pass. That's not all, you can enter to win a 6 month pass! What could you accomplish in 6 months?

  5. I would be so blessed by this, it’s not even funny. We are brand new to the area (my husband, myself and our almost 2 year old son!) On top of being brand new and trying to build a new community of friends, we also live in a tiny home! Which has so many perks, but also has some downfalls. One of those being the fact that we cannot be inside for long periods of time without going a little stir crazy! The YMCA would provide us an opportunity to get out, make new friends, and continue being active. Thanks for doing this!

    1. Yay for getting out of the house more. I remember when my kiddos were little. I always felt the house was caving in and enclosing in on us. Now we have a reason to get out of the house.
